On September 22, 2020 Comanche County Hospital held an inhouse reception dedicating the new CT Department to former Administrator, Nancy Zimmerman. Nancy worked for the hospital until her retirement in late 2019, for a combined 44 years as a staff nurse, director of nursing and administrator. Her passion for patient care and commitment to healthcare in our communities helped to keep our local hospital thriving and Nancy knew having Computerized Tomography available in our communities was a vital part of quality care. Over her career Nancy served in numerous ways, such as the Community Health Medical Foundation, Advisor to the WEPAC Board, Executive Council of the South-Central Kansas Trauma Council, as well as serving as a member of the hospital auxiliary. She was honored with an appointment by the governor to the State Advisory Council for Trauma. We are extremely proud to dedicate this new department to Nancy and her commitment to Comanche County healthcare.
